To tackle the climate crisis, urgent global efforts are needed for substantial emissions reduction, aiming to stay below the 1.5°C limit and avoid further humanitarian impacts. Mitigation, scaling up locally-led adaptation actions and strengthening communities’ capacities and including them in the planning and implementation process are key – and mental health impacts and psychosocial well-being must be included in these processes.
