Mental Health and Well-Being in Times of COVID-19 Conference

At the WHO Executive Board in January, WHO Member States adopted a decision on integrating mental health in all public health emergencies preparedness and response. WHO, together with partners, is providing guidance and advice during the COVID-19 pandemic for health workers, managers of health facilities, people who are looking after children, older adults, people in isolation and members of the public more generally, to help us look after our mental health. With experience from the professionals in the field and examples from member states, this event aims to share practical tools, best practices and resources, along with care givers and self-care tools to help navigate through this difficult time and strengthen and support our mental health and psychosocial wellbeing. Elliot Nazonse, MHPSS Focal Point in the Malawi Red Cross Society, will be representing the IFRC in the panel discussion. Time: Mar 30, 2021 15:00 in Amsterdam, Berlin, Rome, Stockholm, Vienna (GMT+1) Webinar Registration
