It is not too late to join our photo competition!
Travel restrictions and limited face-to-face trainings have made it difficult for the PS Centre to take or collect photos that document the MHPSS work done by National Societies in 2020. These photos not only document the essential MHPSS activities throughout the world, but they also bring life to the PS Centre publications, such as our upcoming annual report. We have therefore launched a photo competition in hopes of receiving assistance from Red Cross Red Crescent National Society staff and volunteers to share their MHPSS-related images.
The contestants so far have submitted captivating photos that depict the various MHPSS activities throughout the world. These include photo submissions from Roberto from Salvadorean Red Cross Society and Pavlina from Belarus Red Cross.
To participate, send us photos of MHPSS activities from your National Society. You can send us as many photos as you like, but please add a document with photo credit, information and captions. If the image contains close-ups of easily recognizable people, please add a signed consent form. We would also like your written consent – if you agree – to use the images on other platforms like website and social media.

The winning prize is a JOBY Gorillapod!
The OBY GorillaPod 3K Kit is a package consisting of the GorillaPod 3K stand and the BallHead 3K ball head. Together, they provide a lightweight, compact and highly flexible solution for photographers, filmmakers and video bloggers who need support for photo and video equipment at the lighter end.
The winning images will be announced on pscentre.org and social media.
How to participate:
Send your photo(s) and any questions about this competition to PS Centre communication assistant Barbara Levin, balev@rodekors.dk, no later than 10 May. Remember to add credit information and captions in a separate document and a consent form if necessary. If the files are too large to send by e-mail, you are welcome to send them through WeTransfer, share a Dropbox folder or anything similar.
