Do you know about child-friendly spaces?

The IFRC is aiming to develop a lessons learned report on the use of Child Friendly Spaces (CFS) in Emergencies. CFS are an approach used more and more commonly across Regions. In order to understand where exactly they have been used, their reach, and what has worked or not, we need your help!

Specifically:

  • Have you been involved in the implementation of, or know of, any IFRC or National Society child friendly spaces in emergencies between the years 2011-2016?
  • Do you have any information about the use of CFS in emergencies by IFRC and National Societies like field reports, project descriptions, case studies, lesson learned, or evaluations that you can share?

If you have information to share, please contact Gurvinder Singh, IFRC Violence Prevention & Response Advisor: gurvinder.singh@redcross.ca.
