This heart-warming and beautifully illustrated book tells the story of Sara, who suddenly finds herself living in a world which has become a scary place. My Hero is You is a book written for children around the world affected by the COVID-19 outbreak. It is intended to be read to children aged 6-11 years, by a parent, caregiver or teacher.

The book is a project of the Inter-Agency Standing Committee Reference Group on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support in Emergency Settings, a unique collaboration of United Nations agencies, nongovernmental organizations, international agencies and academics.
